Welcome to Gathervo (accessible at https://gathervo.com). Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Gathervo website and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using Gathervo, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Service.
You may use Gathervo only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. You agree not to misuse the Service or assist others in doing so.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using Gathervo, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
You must provide accurate and complete information and keep it updated at all times.
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activities under your account.

Zero-Tolerance Policy
There are two ways to pay, and they are not so much alternatives to each other as answers to different questions: whether you run one event, or many.
A package bought for a single event, priced by how many people it is for, how long it runs, and how much you can store. The free tier exists so you can run a real event without paying; it is limited, and the limits are shown before you choose it.
Unlimited events with every feature, billed in advance. An invoice is generated automatically each period. The monthly plan is capped at a number of events per month, shown on the pricing page; the yearly plan is not.
If the platform does not do what we said it does, tell us and we will refund you. We would rather return the money than argue about a feature that did not work.
Beyond that: a per-event package is refundable in full until the event opens for registration, and not after, because from that point it has been used. A subscription can be cancelled at any time and stops at the end of the period already paid for; we do not refund part of a period, and we do not bill the next one.
Refunds for tickets an attendee bought to somebody else's event are that organiser's decision, not ours. Section 7 explains why.
If you sell tickets, you choose how the money is taken, and the choice changes who holds it and who is answerable for it.
Connect your own and the money goes straight to you. We never hold it, we charge no extra fee on it, and refunds, chargebacks and tax on those sales are between you, your attendees and your payment provider.
Use ours and there is nothing for you to set up, but an additional charge applies per transaction — shown before you choose it, and shown again on every payment. We hold the balance on your behalf until you withdraw it.
Payments taken this way are processed by Stripe for Gathervo, which is the merchant of record for them and the name your attendees will see on their card statements. Tell them so: a buyer who cannot match a statement line to what they bought raises a chargeback, and a chargeback comes out of your balance.
Running an event here means collecting other people's personal data. Under data protection law you are the controller of that data and we are your processor: you decide what to ask and why, and we hold it and act on your instructions. That comes with obligations that are yours rather than ours.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the written agreement that data protection law requires between a controller and a processor. Ask us if you need it as a separate signed document.
Event data is kept for 5 years after the event ends
An event and everything attached to it — agenda, registrations, tickets, submissions, uploads and reports — stays available for 5 years after the event's end date, whatever you paid for it and whether or not you still hold an active plan. Before that period expires we write to the event's owner. At that point you can take out a subscription to keep the event active, or export whatever you want to keep. If neither happens, the event and its data are deleted.
This is a deletion, not an archive. Once it has run we cannot recover the data for you, so do not treat the platform as your only copy of something you need.
Export is available throughout that period, at no charge, in a format you can read without us. Deleting your account is described in the Privacy Policy.
All content and materials on Gathervo, including logos, designs, text, graphics, and software, are owned or licensed by Gathervo and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, and share your information.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gathervo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Gathervo is established.
